The Garrison’s / Old Post 1940
For Ally, Sage Events Co., to work in the industry, plan this entire wedding and ask me to photograph her little sister’s wedding, I couldn’t have been more honored. A December day, cloud filled sky without rain. A perfect day for A + Q to tie the knot. They were both intentional with their vendors, details, and timeline of the day. Two details that stood out to me the most: 1. Including books in their details to pull from Amanda’s theater past and her current job as an English teacher. 2. The small Canadian flags to represent Quin and his family. They prioritized getting ready and taking most of their photos on Amanda’s family property. This Mountain View was unbeatable and complimented the bridesmaid’s dresses so well. Amanda and Quin are undoubtably in love, but in a giggly and vulnerable way. Quin cried most of the day, but because he was so appreciative of the kind words from everyone and knowing he was married to Amanda. During the first look together he basically told her “I went into your dad’s office this morning and saw a photo of you. I was in awe that I get to marry you today.” For this being my first time meeting these two, that was all I needed to hear to be a huge puddle over them.
